Wood Green - complete remodelling of small Victorian Terrace

The property was an uninhabitable, very dated Victorian 2up-2down, with a typical layout of that type of property, namely the stairs running perpendicular across the middle of the ground floor and a tiny bathroom extension at the rear.  The optimum way to extend and to dreate more space was to completely gut the whole house and rebuold to a much improved layout while extensing into the loft and rebuilding the rear extensin to cover the width of the property.  By altering the floor heights and moving the stairs to run up the side of each floor, a much more efficient use of space was achieved, such that there is a now a large open plan kitchen/diner/lounge covering the whole of the ground floor, with cloakroom under the stairs, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor and a bedroom and en-suite on the second floor.

The slide-show below shows the property after work was complete and then below that the second slideshow shows the property before and during renovation
