Orion Harriers Clubhouse - Chingford

April to August 2010

Converted agricultural building/store into new clubhouse and changing rooms

Orion Harriers needed a new clubhouse, having had to vacate their old premises.

They planned to keep costs down by using contractors who were club members and to use volunteers to do some of the labouring work.  The challenge was to coordinate all these contractors who were not previously known top the company.

As well as being the new social centre for the club, a key requirement was to provide changing room and shower facilities for men and women.  In particular the showers needed to be capable of delivering 1 hours worth of hot water to 12 shower heads.  This required the research into suitable systems and selcting a specialised contractor to install them.
